What’s it all about?
The only constant is change, especially when it comes to education. GetSet is here to help students become independent learners, as well as give educators the confidence to tackle new subjects and teach outside their specialism. We bring the expert content, you lead the room.
ITZA is the digital learning platform it all runs on, where students explore a growing range of real-world subjects, at their own pace, and are rewarded for their curiosity as they go.
Right now, you can choose from Financial Literacy, Space Science, Sustainability and Creative Arts. Each programme runs to 15 sessions; twelve to build knowledge, and three where students put it to work on an independent project of their own. Teach them in order for the full journey, or dip into the sessions you need.

Our mission
More and more, lessons are taught by someone outside their own specialism… around 13% of secondary lessons in fact*, and in some subjects more than half. As the curriculum broadens to keep learning relevant, that share is only growing. We're here to help you meet that trend: to teach subjects you're still getting to know yourself, with confidence.
We believe learning works best both ways. When students go and find things out for themselves, they tend to take their discoveries with them. Sometimes that includes knowledge that’s new to you, too. Educators deserve the content, the structure and the confidence to bring these subjects to life, whatever their specialism. It’s about students learning what works for them, in a way that works for them… and taking real ownership of everything they uncover.

How sessions work
Step 1: Spark their curiosity
Each session kicks off with a thought provoking question or activity designed to get students thinking about the topic before they dive in.
Step 2: Go exploring
Next, students have around 20 minutes to work through an ITZA pathway independently, letting their curiosity lead the way.
Step 3: Let’s get together
Now it’s over to you to bring your students together for a discussion-led activity where they’ll consolidate and apply what they’ve just learned.
Step 4: Recap and reflect
Sessions close with a short plenary that gives the class a chance to consider and take stock of what they’ve discovered.
