Terms & Conditions

Thank you for visiting GetSet. These terms and conditions (the "Terms") set out how you may use getset.life (the "GetSet Website") and the teaching resources available on it (the "Resources"). Please read them carefully. By using the GetSet Website or the Resources, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy also apply to your use of the GetSet Website and form part of these Terms.

Who We Are

The GetSet Website is operated by Itza Media Limited ("Itza", "we", "us" or "our"), a private company registered in England and Wales with company number 11005147. Our registered office is Suite 4, Club Row Studios, 5 Old Nichol Street, London, E2 7HR, England. You can contact us at support@itza.io.

Who GetSet Is For

GetSet provides free, ready-to-teach resources for teachers, educators and other adults who lead learning with young people. The GetSet Website is intended for adults. Students take part in GetSet sessions through the ITZA platform at itza.io, which has its own Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Using the GetSet Website

You do not need an account to use the GetSet Website. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe our rights or anyone else's, or restrict anyone else's use of it. In particular, you must not try to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with how it works, introduce viruses or other harmful code, or copy its content in bulk by automated means.

We may suspend, withdraw or change all or part of the GetSet Website, or any Resource, at any time without notice. We will try to keep it available, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free from errors.

Using the Resources

The Resources include session plans, learner journals, slide decks, articles, programme films and other materials. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Resources for non-commercial educational purposes. Under this licence you may:

  • download, print and display the Resources to teach your own classes or groups;
  • share the Resources with students you teach and with colleagues at your school or organisation for the same purpose;
  • make a copy of the editable Google Docs and Google Slides versions and adapt them for your own teaching, for example to suit your students' needs.

You must not, without our written permission:

  • sell, license or charge for access to the Resources, or use them in any paid product or service;
  • publish or share the Resources, or adapted versions of them, publicly online or in any publication, except by linking to the GetSet Website;
  • remove or obscure the GetSet or ITZA name, logo, copyright notices or credits from the Resources;
  • present the Resources, or adapted versions of them, as your own work or as endorsed by us when they are not;
  • use the Resources to train or develop artificial intelligence models or datasets.

If you would like to use the Resources in any other way, please email support@itza.io. We may end this licence at any time if you breach these Terms, in which case you must stop using the Resources and delete any copies you have made.

Teaching Responsibilities

The Resources are designed to support your teaching, not to replace your professional judgement. You are responsible for deciding whether a Resource is suitable for your students, adapting it where needed, and following your school's or organisation's policies, including those on safeguarding, online safety and supervising students' use of the internet and the ITZA platform.

We work with academics, industry specialists and other organisations to make the Resources accurate and up to date. However, some information, such as statistics and current events, can change. If you spot a mistake, please let us know at support@itza.io (mailto:support@itza.io) and we will review and correct it where appropriate.

ITZA Pathways and Other Linked Services

Each GetSet session links to a learning pathway on itza.io. Use of itza.io, by you or your students, is governed by the ITZA Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and AI Usage Policy, not by these Terms.

Some Resources are provided through Google Docs and Google Slides, and the GetSet Website links to our social media pages and other third-party websites. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Linking to them does not mean we endorse them. Your use of them is subject to their own terms.

Partners and Third-Party Content

Some Resources include content, data or logos from partners and third parties, such as statistics from international organisations or the logos of organisations that support a programme. These remain the property of their owners. Their inclusion does not mean that those organisations endorse you, your school or any use you make of the Resources, and you must not suggest that they do.

Newsletter

If you sign up to our newsletter, we will send you updates and news about GetSet and ITZA. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Our Privacy Policy (https://getset.life/privacy-policy) explains how we handle your email address.

Intellectual Property

The GetSet Website and the Resources, including all text, images, graphics, logos, videos, designs and software, are owned by Itza or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. GetSet, ITZA and their logos are trade marks of Itza Media Limited. Except for the licence granted in these Terms, no rights are given to you, and all other rights are reserved.

Linking to GetSet

You are welcome to link to the GetSet Website, including to individual programme and session pages, provided you do so fairly and lawfully and do not suggest any association with or endorsement by us that does not exist. You must not link from a website that contains unlawful, offensive or misleading content. We may withdraw permission to link at any time.

Disclaimer

The GetSet Website and the Resources are provided free of charge and "as is". They are intended to provide general educational content only. To the extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranties, conditions or other promises, express or implied, about the GetSet Website or the Resources, including that they will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, free of viruses or suitable for any particular purpose.

Our Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, we will not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for:

  • any loss or corruption of data, or damage to your device or software, caused by a virus or other harmful material, unless caused by our failure to take reasonable care;
  • any loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity;
  • any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the GetSet Website or the Resources.

Because the GetSet Website and the Resources are provided free of charge, and subject to the paragraphs above, our total liability to you for any loss arising out of or in connection with them is limited to £100.

Events Beyond Our Control

We will not be responsible for any delay or failure to provide the GetSet Website or the Resources caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as a failure of internet or telecommunications services, power failure, fire, flood or government action.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Please check this page whenever you use the GetSet Website. If you continue to use it after the Terms have changed, you will be bound by the updated Terms.

General

Severance. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in full force and effect.

Waiver. If we do not enforce any of our rights under these Terms straight away, we can still enforce them later.

Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else.

Third-party rights. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of the GetSet Website and the Resources.

Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the GetSet Website, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. These Terms are available in English only.
